About Us

Sierra grew up with a parent battling addiction, which gives her a unique perspective and ability to connect with her clients. It also put her in the situation where she knew she would be a criminal attorney at the age of 7.

She was selected for a Law and Forensic Forum in Washington DC during high school through George Mason University. She also worked in a prosecutor's office for nearly 2 years to put herself through college.

Sierra studied psychology, criminal justice, and political science while attending the University of Oregon, and later graduating from Portland State University with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science at age 21.

She then packed up everything, and moved halfway across the country to attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law. During her attendance, she excelled in her Trial Skills courses and oral presentations.

Sierra was a Rule 13 intern for the Jackson County Public Defender’s Office for a year, where she mostly worked A & B Felonies - particularly Murders. She was able to argue Bond for an A Felony Arson and was granted the OR with conditions.

She worked with the Greene County Public Defender’s Office for the previous two years taking a range of cases from Misdemeanors to A Felonies.

Sierra won her first Jury Trial as a second chair, which was a B Felony. Her second Jury Trial was a mistrial, which was later resolved. She has a personal record of nine cases (four clients) being OR’d in one day.

“I do this job to try and be the helping hand I never had growing up. I was able to pull myself out of that situation, when I could just as easily be any of my clients. So if I can help one of them, just one, pull themselves out, then everything I’ve been through to get here will have been worth it.” she said.
